CUP CHARACTERISTICS: Excellent Earl Grey notes accented with piquant lemon. INFUSION: Bright, coppery, with a full bodied tart finish. INGREDIENTS: Black Loose Leaf Tea, dried orange, dried lemon, Daisy White, Rose and Cornflower petals, cinnamon pieces, natural flavours. TEA INFORMATION: This tea was blended in honour of one specific Baroness Grey. British legend has it that she lived sometime in the 16th century and was married to a man who was a Ship’s Captain in the Royal Navy. His ship never returned from a trading voyage to China. Refusing to believe that her husband would never return the Baroness would walk to the port every morning to greet each ship hoping for news of her husband. Sadly, she continued this practice until the day she died. The dried lemon added to this traditionally bergamot tea honour the bitter tears that this faithful Baroness shed for her beloved.
